What data WantedWise collects, why, how long it is kept, and how to exercise your rights.

WantedWise collects as little data as possible. This page explains what, why, and how to exercise your rights (GDPR and the Swiss data protection act).
What we collect
- Newsletter: your email address, to send you the weekly newsletter. Legal basis: your consent, confirmed by clicking a link in an email (double opt-in): without that click, the address is not added. Retention: until you unsubscribe, then deleted within 30 days.
- Coaching request: first name or gamertag, email, optional Discord username, platform, level, language and message, plus your age statement. Legal basis: steps taken at your request before a contract. Retention: 12 months after our last exchange, 10 years for invoices (accounting obligation).
- Ebook waiting list: first name or gamertag and email, for a single email when pre-orders open. Retention: 6 months after pre-orders open.
What we don't do
No advertising cookies, no third-party trackers, no data resale. The site currently sets no audience measurement cookie. If measurement is added, it will only run with your consent, and this page will be updated.
Service providers
Hosting: Vercel. Email delivery: Resend. These providers process data on our behalf and may store it outside the European Union, under standard contractual clauses.
Minors
The guides can be read by anyone. Newsletter sign-up is open from the age of digital consent in your country (13 to 16 depending on the country). Coaching and ebook purchases are for adults (18+), or minors with written consent from a parent.
Your rights
Access, correction, deletion, objection, restriction and portability: email contact@wantedwise.com, and we reply within one month. You can also contact the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate (Andmekaitse Inspektsioon) or the data protection authority in your country.
