Which Business to Buy in GTA Online in 2026: Bunker, Agency, Nightclub, Mansion

In 2026, your best next business depends on what you already own. Starting from nothing: the Acid Lab, then the Agency. With an income source already in place: the Bunker, then the Nightclub, which only really pays off with other businesses behind it. The Mansion earns nothing on its own: it speeds up what you own and opens the Kortz Center, which makes it your last purchase, not your next one.
How do you choose your next business?
Ask yourself three questions before buying.
- How much do you play per week? A business that produces in the background is useless if you never have time to sell.
- Do you play solo? Some sales need several vehicles when stock is full, which gets long when you are alone.
- Do you prefer missions or management? The Agency and the Salvage Yard offer missions. The Bunker, the Acid Lab and the Nightclub are mostly about selling at the right time.
How much does each business cost and earn?
| Business | Purchase price | What it earns (according to sources) | Solo |
|---|---|---|---|
| Acid Lab | Truck free after the First Dose missions, installation 750,000, upgrade 250,000 GTA$ | 335,000 to 352,000 GTA$ per full upgraded stock | Very good |
| Agency | 2,010,000 to 2,830,000 GTA$ | Dr. Dre Contract 900,000 GTA$ (1,099,800 the first time each week); safe up to 20,000 GTA$ per in-game day | Very good |
| Kosatka (Cayo Perico) | 2,200,000 GTA$ | Primary target from 400,000 to 910,000 GTA$ on Normal, plus secondary loot | Yes, 144-minute solo cooldown |
| Bunker | 1,165,000 to 2,375,000 GTA$; equipment 1,155,000, staff 598,500 | About 1,050,000 GTA$ for a full upgraded stock sold in Los Santos | Yes, sales can be long |
| Nightclub | 1,080,000 to 1,700,000 GTA$ | Safe up to 50,000 GTA$ per in-game day; full warehouse around 1,930,000 GTA$ | Yes |
| Salvage Yard | 1,620,000 to 2,690,000 GTA$ (about 5,690,000 fully loaded) | Vehicle robberies every week, plus up to 24,000 GTA$ per in-game day | Yes |
| Bail Office | 1,650,000 to 2,620,000 GTA$ | Bounties on wanted targets | Yes |
| Car wash (Money Fronts) | 1,000,000 GTA$ | Mostly an entry point; about 4,500 GTA$ per in-game day for the three businesses combined | Yes |
| Mansion | 11,500,000 to 12,800,000 GTA$ | Nothing directly; speeds up one business, and opens the Kortz Center with the Art Studio (4,700,000) | Yes |

Bunker or Agency: which one should you get?
This is the most common dilemma, and both are good purchases. The difference is how you play.
- The Agency pays when you play: one big contract per week with Dr. Dre, short Security Contracts, Payphone Hits. Its safe only really fills up after about 200 Security Contracts, so do not buy it for passive income.
- The Bunker pays when you are not actively grinding: it produces in the background, and you sell when stock is full. Pick a location close to the city, like Chumash (1,650,000 GTA$), rather than the cheapest one, which is far from everything.
If you play less than an hour a night, get the Agency first. If you log in every other day for long sessions, get the Bunker first. To fit this purchase into your full path, see what to buy first in GTA Online.
Is the Nightclub worth it if I do not like managing businesses?
Yes, but not first. The Nightclub runs on technicians who collect goods from your other businesses (Bunker, MC labs, CEO warehouses). Without those businesses, it has almost nothing to store. With them, it is the laziest way to make money: no resupplying, a big sale now and then, and a safe to empty.
A useful detail according to Timesaver: the location does not change earnings. A 1,080,000 GTA$ Nightclub earns as much as a 1,700,000 one. Only the delivery routes change.
Auto Shop, Bail Office or Garment Factory?
These three businesses offer short, repeatable missions instead of production to sell. They suit players who would rather play than manage.
- The Auto Shop (from 1,670,000 GTA$ according to GTABase) gives you access to short robbery contracts and vehicle customization.
- The Bail Office (1,650,000 GTA$ in Paleto Bay, up to 2,620,000 in Downtown Vinewood according to GTA Boss) has you hunting wanted targets.
- The Garment Factory is described by Console Pulse (September 2026) as a "clean, repeatable" mission loop. We did not find dated price and payout figures reliable enough to publish here: check the price shown in game.
For the Acid Lab, the first on this list, see our full guide. None of these three is essential. Pick the one whose missions you enjoy: that is the one you will actually play.
Is the CEO Special Cargo Warehouse still worth it?
For a solo player, it is rarely the best choice. Filling a large warehouse takes a lot of supply missions, and a full sale needs several vehicles. We did not find a 2026 dated source solid enough on its real earnings to give you a figure. If you buy one, do it to feed the Nightclub, not for its own sake.
Is the Mansion worth its 11.5 million?
The Mansion (Title Update 1.72, December 10, 2025) costs 11,500,000 GTA$ for the Tongva Estate, 12,200,000 for the Vinewood Residence and 12,800,000 for the Richman Villa. It gives you three things:
- A production boost through the Mansion assistant: according to Sportskeeda, one business produces three times faster for the duration of the boost, and you cannot boost the same business twice in a row. Exact duration and cooldown: to be checked in game, the guides do not all agree.
- Access to the Kortz Center Heist, with the Art Studio at 4,700,000 GTA$. According to GTA BOOM, the first sale of the week can pay up to 1,925,000 GTA$ depending on the painting stolen, then much less for later ones (481,250 GTA$ for that same painting).
- Comfort: a 20-car garage and business management from a terminal.
Our reading: the Mansion makes sense once you already have three or four businesses running and you play the Kortz Center every week. Before that, the money works harder elsewhere. The heist is covered in our Kortz Center solo guide.
Should you sell in a public or invite-only session?
Invite-only, unless you have a specific reason. Since The Criminal Enterprises update in July 2022, all business activities, sales included, are allowed in invite-only, friends and crew sessions. Public session sales can give a small bonus when the lobby is busy, but a Bunker stock destroyed by another player costs far more than that bonus.
Which buying order should you follow?
For a solo player with little time, the order that comes up most in recent sources is: Acid Lab, Agency or Kosatka, Bunker, Nightclub, then mission businesses to taste, and the Mansion last. For the money methods that go with it, see making money solo in GTA Online.
If you already own several businesses and no longer know which one to run, that is exactly what a 1v1 coaching session is for: we start from your real account and your play time to set an investment plan. The ebook also covers the passive income that is still worth it, business by business.
FAQ
What is the best business in GTA Online in 2026?
There is no single one. For a new solo player, the Acid Lab and then the Agency give the best balance between price and effort. The Bunker and the Nightclub get interesting once you already own one or two businesses.
Bunker or Agency?
The Agency if you play in short sessions and want active money: the Dr. Dre Contract pays 900,000 GTA$. The Bunker if you want production running while you do something else, with sales around 1,050,000 GTA$ for a full upgraded stock sold in Los Santos.
Is the Nightclub worth it if I do not like managing businesses?
Yes, as long as you already own other businesses: it turns their goods into stock you can sell without resupplying. On its own, it only earns from its safe, up to 50,000 GTA$ per in-game day according to Timesaver.
Is the Mansion profitable?
Not on its own. It speeds up production for one business at a time and opens the Kortz Center if you add the Art Studio at 4.7 million. Budget at least 16.2 million for both: it is an endgame purchase.
Can you sell your goods alone without getting attacked?
Yes. Since July 2022, sales are allowed in invite-only sessions. You are alone there, so nobody can destroy your delivery.
